September 11, 2020We will soon be releasing a new cheaper license type for low resource servers. The license type will work for servers with 4 x vcpus \ threads or less. Our planned price for this License is $7.50. This license type will not support interworx multi-server clustering.
This license is intended to help customers who do not need a high end server but do need a control panel. This type of license will also be handy for developers who want to build sites on the Interworx control panel, allowing the finished product to be easily migrated to a Production Interworx environment.
Interworx version 7 was released at the end of the last quarter, featuring a brand new UI, and is available for use on fresh Interworx installs. Internally, we’re wrapping up work on the v7 automated testing system, 15000+ tests covering the Interworx UI, API and CLI. As well as completing work needed to utilize our existing Interworx hotfix system with v7.
This will allow us to accelerate future updates to both v6 and v7. Once those are complete and rolled out, we’ll move on to the highly anticipated v6 to v7 upgrade opt-in tool.
We are also getting close to release for Mailman support on Interworx. This is an email discussion and e-newsletter lists management tool.
